Genesis
Three people once went for casual tranquilising visit to a village for relaxation, in the lap of virgin hills of a small village called Chanchirow in Pauri Garhwal, Uttarakhand.
The village became part of their life for these three people, namely, Ms. Namami Roy, Dr. Dipanjan Sujit Roy and Mr. Narayan Datt Nougain. Mr. Narayan Datt Nougain, being a native from the village.
With the luxury of time, similar outlook and a doctor in the team, a Health Camp was organised for the village populace.
The response was immense with the younger generation coming forward as volunteers. This led to more health and wellness camps in the coming days.
Gradually, the necessity to respond to issues like health, education, migration, environment, sustainable development etcetera, became an imperative need. This led to a thought of starting an organisation - thus,
NF was born.
Then came along a gentleman, Mr. Jawed Habib, whose philanthropic bend of mind led him to join our team of Trustees.
Formally, on 19th August 2019 Namami elfare Foundation (NF) came into existence.
NF started its journey without any support from government or any organisation.

We maintain an environment, where NF family work together to use a continual improvement process to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of all and the sustainability of the workplace by considering the following, based on identified needs:
Health, safety and well-being concern, namely physical and psychosocial work environment, including organization of work and workplace culture;
Personal health resources in the workplace;
Ways of participating in the community to improve the health of workers, their families and other members of the community.
